Items NOT accepted:

                Construction material, brush, tires, car parts, paint cans, any material contaminated with hazardous chemicals.

2011/11/10 Wounded Warrior Ride Passes through Poth

The wounded warriors bike club is riding through Poth on Thursday (November 10th) about 10:30.  We will host them at the High School gym and it is open to the public.  They will be here for about 30 minutes.  Please read the attached press release for more info, or visit their site www.wowcycling.org.

Ride to Remember Update

All riders will be able to pickup rider packets beginning at 6:30 am September 10, 2010 in the Poth City park. The ride will start promptly at 8:00am.

Hi All,

It looks like we will have some relief from the weather next week for the bike ride. There is a “cool front” to drop temperatures in the mid 90′s. With a chance of rain to help cool things off a little more. We look forward to seeing you next week.

2011/08/26 Early Registration Ends Tomorrow

Just a quick reminder that early registration for the Ride to Remember Bike Ride and 5K Run ends August 27,2011. Please click register to take advantage of the early registration. If you have already registered, Thank You and we will see you at the ride (start times and contact information).

All riders receive wrist bands for the Texas young artist music festival. It starts at 3pm at the park.

2011/07/23 Rider Update

All Riders and runners who participate in the Ride to Remember will receive a dry-fit shirt and a barbq lunch. The start will be staggered with the long ride starting promplty at 8:00 am and the shorter rides starting about 20 minutes later at 8:20 am. The 5K run will start at 9:00 am.

Movies in the Park


Beginning May 20, 2011 the city of Poth will be showing free movies in the new amphitheater in the City Park. The park is located at 801 Coy St. Just turn off 181 on Hosek St., and take Hosek straight into the park. This family friendly event will start around sunset (8:45 pm or so) and will continue every other Friday throughout the summer. Dates of movies will be May 20, June 3, June 17, July 8, July 22, and August 5.
