The ride is still on, there is a small cell moving thru the area right now. There is a little rain, but nothing heavy. After that cell moves thru it looks like spotty drizzle according to the weather channel. Here is the radar link: http://www.weather.com/weather/map/interactive/78147?from=hrly_topnav_undeclared
I drove the course at 9:00pm last night. There was no signs of high water crossing or water pudding heavly on the road. The roads conditions overall were very good.
As stated earlier, the BarBQ lunch will go on as planned no matter what the rain situation.

The ride is still on as off 5:30pm. There is a 30% chance of rain in the morning from the Weather Channel http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/graph/78147?begHour=2&begDay=255&from=hrly_graph
To all riders and volunteers
We are still on for tomorrow morning. The latest update from the weather.com and the weather channel both say there is a 30% chance of rain that morning and 50% for the afternoon http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/78147?begHour=8&begDay=255. I only plan to cancel if the weather cause any dangerous conditions tomorrow, but that decision will be made that morning. I will update the blog http://ridetoremember.cityofpoth.org/blog and twitter http://www.twitter.com/ridetoremember this afternoon, this evening and early tomorrow morning with updated weather predictions. Regardless of weather, the BarBQ lunch is still on. We will still have a great bike picnic where riders can get to know each other, and share bike stories. Thanks to each of you for choosing to be a part of this event.
I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning.
Thanks
Travis Pruski

Update – David Scheffler Photo’s will be on site taking pictures. They will be available for sell on his webpage the day after the event. www.davidschefflerphotography.com
Update – There will be a massage table at the park when you return from the ride. Zager Chiropractic will charge 5 dollars per massage with the proceeds going to the event.
Update – There will be a minor change in the ride route in the Floresville city limits. We are going to reroute everyone that does the 22 mile ride or more through the Wilson County Veterans Home. There will be no mile changes. But with the VA home being a leader in South Texas for Alzheimer’s patients, we could not think of a better place to ride. We will have one of our water stations out in front of the VA. Do not worry there will be signs.
Update – The check in starts at 7:00am. The ride will start at 8:00am with a staggered start time of 5 minutes per group (66 first, then 44, then 22, followed by 12). There are going to be 5 water stations along the route rough 6 to 10 miles apart. We will also have 4 trucks on the course with water, spare tubes and air tanks. There will be a motorcycle lead escort as well.
