Great Time in Poth

I had a great time. The ride was well planned, well organized and the people were very friendly. I can’t wait to go back and visit. I also want  to eat at the diner in DeWees. I just can’t say enough about how good a  ride it was and I have made sure all my friends know what a nice town Poth is.

Don’t forget to send me photos!

Way to Go Poth

Having ridden dozens of rides in the past, rarely is the first bicycling event of any kind a good one. This was not the case in the Ride To Remember. Travis Pruski and his large cast of volunteers did the City of Poth and the Alzheimer’s Association proud. Every rest stop was well supplied with various appropriate fluids and foods, along with smiling eager faces. The roads were free of debris, the dogs controlled, the police  support great, and various individuals stayed out in the hot sun simply to head us in the right direction. The organization was simply A+. Those who were in attendance indicated they would be back with many more cyclists next year. Travis and his crew somehow orchestrated the release of tens of thousands of butterflys near the end of the ride. Certainly a Ride to Remember.

Way to go Poth.

Thank You Volunteers

Thank you for all the work it took to put on your ride. I really enjoyed it and hope to be a part of it next year. I especially want to thank the volunteer on the harley who extended his courtesy  beyond the call of duty. My only advice for next year would be that there would be more communication between you and the volunteers at the rest stations.  There were several 66 mile riders who came to the last station to find they had already left . The rest of the ride was great, the  roads were a challenge and gave a good view of the countryside,  thanks again
