Thank you and your staff for making the 4th annual Poth RTR an outstanding race. Good choice on tech shirt color and the BBQ was excellent this year. I’m starting my Ironman training in November and will be doing a couple of sprint TRIs in the spring. The Texas State Sprint is a good race to compete in. Let me know if you have any questions. I appreciate what you have done for my hometown. Keep up the great work.

[...] Saturday, September 10: Fourth Annual Ride sponsored by the City of Poth and the Alzheimer’s Association. Ride starts at 8:00 a.m. with on-site registration and packet pick-up starting at 7:00. Ride features options for a 22 mile, a 44 mile or a 66 mile ride plus a 12 mile family ride. Cost is $30.00 until August 27th with late registration at $35.00 after that. Price includes a meal after the ride. Meals for non-riders cost $7.00 each. Meeting place is at Poth City Park located on Hosek Street, just off of Highway 181. Signs will be posted for the turn off. We have had over 800 riders and have raised over $20,000. The proceeds have gone to the Alzheimer’s Association San Antonio Chapter and the City of Poth parks funds.
